Becoming a member or renewing your membership is easy.
There are many ways to enroll— online, by mail or in-person. Choose the method that suits you best.
Already an MHBA member, but don't have a login? You just need to request access. Once we verify your membership, we'll get you online.
You must be at least 13 years of age to join our online community.
Use your credit, debit card or PayPal account to enroll and pay online using the PayPal service.
Choose a one-year or recurring membership below and click the PayPal button. When you’ve finished paying you'll automatically receive an email with a link to register your membership on the MHBA website. This last step adds your online member benefits.
One-year new or renewal membership $20
A PayPal account is not required. You can pay with your credit or debit card using the PayPal service.
Recurring membership $20
If you have a PayPal account you may have your dues paid automatically every year. Subscribe and never worry about your membership expiring again! You can always change your mind, and unsubscribe with a click of a button.
Enroll in person
You can also enroll in person at any of our monthly meetings. Just download and print the PDF membership form, fill it out, and give it to our treasurer. To unlock all the great benefits of your MHBA membership, be sure to register and activate your account online.
Becoming a member is just the first step.
It's not required, but to participate fully in the MHBA online community you need to register and activate your membership.
Online members can:
- Reserve books from the lending library
- Sign up for volunteer opportunities
- Sign up to be a swarm catcher
- Join groups and participate in forum discussions
- Opt in to receive important email messages
- Access our member directory

We encourage you to register and activate your membership online. When you do, you get even more benefits.
If you enrolled online you will receive an email with a link to register and activate your online member account. You need to complete this step before you can log on and participate fully in the MHBA online community.
If you enrolled by mail or in person and checked the box on the enrollment form to join the MHBA online community, you’ll receive an email form to register and activate your membership on the website. If you didn't check that box you can still click here to join the online community.
Membership types and terms.
Membership can be for an individual, family or business. Family and business memberships have one voting member.
Memberships are good until December 31st of the year of enrollment, unless you join after August 1. Registration or renewals received after August 1 provide membership through December 31 of the following year.
