We will extract some honey from our hobby colonies as well as treating the colonies for mites if levels are high. All members are welcome; however, it is important to bring a veil and any other clothing that you would normally use when you work your colonies. Parking is available in the Honey House Lot.

Enthusiastic ward-winning home-brewer Tim Roets of Chaska will inspire us with his tips on making mead, cyzers and root beer. He says MN honey and all of our apple trees makes the best tasting fruit meads in the country. He is also instrumental in getting the historic Jordan brewery back in production in the near future.

There is a class until 7:00 in the meeting room. Please wait in the vending area at the top of the steps until class is over so we do not disturb them. Meeting will start at 7:10. Year end review. Elections for President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer; all for one year terms and two Directors for three year terms. Youth Scholarship students Whitney Voit and Eric Benson share the progress of their first summer of beekeeping. We wish them well in their years as aspiring beekeepers. We hope to see them at future meetings as well.
